Health & Wellness Guidelines

1. Promote Personal Hygiene : Parents are encouraged to teach children the importance of personal cleanliness, including regular bathing, neat grooming, and trimmed nails.
2. Encourage Daily Physical Activity : Regular exercise and outdoor activities help children stay active, healthy, and energetic throughout the day.
3. Ensure Adequate Rest : Children should have at least eight hours of quality sleep each night to support healthy growth and effective learning.
4. Provide a Balanced Diet : A nutritious diet rich in vegetables, fruits, milk, proteins, and essential vitamins is vital for overall well-being and development.
5. Promote Safe Hydration : Children should drink clean, boiled, or filtered water and bring a properly filled water bottle from home each day.
6. Prevent the Spread of Illness : Students suffering from contagious illnesses such as Conjunctivitis, Dermatitis, Mumps, Scabies, or similar infections should remain at home until fully recovered to ensure the health and safety of all.
7. Develop Healthy Daily Habits : Encourage children to follow a regular routine that includes proper meals, hydration, exercise, study, and rest.
8. Build Lifelong Wellness Awareness : By fostering healthy habits from an early age, parents help children develop a strong foundation for a healthy, active, and successful future.

School Discipline & Conduct Guidelines

1. Be Punctual :Students should arrive at school at least 5 minutes before the start of the school day.
2. Maintain Proper Uniform & Grooming :Students must wear the prescribed school uniform on all working days, functions, and special classes, while maintaining neat personal appearance.
3. Uniform is Mandatory :Entry to the school campus is permitted only in proper school uniform, including remedial and after-school classes.
4. Follow Personal Grooming Standards : Students should maintain cleanliness, neat hairstyles, and good personal hygiene at all times.
5. Do Not Bring Prohibited Items :Sharp objects, expensive valuables, electronic gadgets, cameras, calculators, smart devices, and other unauthorized items are not allowed on campus.
6. Responsible Conduct Matters :Students are expected to display respect, discipline, good manners, positive behavior, and a responsible attitude toward learning and school activities.

School Uniform Policy

1. Uniform Represents Discipline :The school uniform reflects the identity, discipline, and values of Smart Edge School and must be worn with pride.
2. Mandatory on All School Days :Students are required to wear the prescribed school uniform on all regular working days.
3. Required for Extra Classes :The school uniform must also be worn during remedial sessions, practical classes, and any special academic programs.
5. Compulsory During Examinations :Students must attend all examinations, whether conducted inside or outside the school campus, in proper school uniform.
6. Uniform for School Events :The prescribed uniform is mandatory for educational tours, competitions, cultural activities, and all official school functions.
7. Maintain Neat Appearance :Uniforms should always be clean, well-maintained, and worn in a neat and presentable manner.

Student Withdrawal Policy

1. Irregular Attendance :Continuous absence for more than six days without written permission may result in disciplinary action or withdrawal from school.
2. Unsatisfactory Academic Progress :Students who consistently demonstrate inadequate effort or poor progress in academics and co-curricular activities may be reviewed by the school administration.
3. Non-Payment of Fees :Failure to pay school fees within the prescribed timelines may lead to suspension of school privileges or withdrawal.
4. Damage to School Property :Writing, scratching, engraving, or defacing desks, chairs, walls, or any school property is considered a serious offense.
5. Unauthorized Absence or Bunking :Skipping classes or leaving school without permission is a violation of school discipline and may result in strict action.
